Metin Heper, a Professor of Politics, is Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences at Bilkent University, Ankara, and Founding Member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences. Professor Heper had been a Research Fellow at Harvard University, Lester Martin Research Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut (USA), Simon Senior Research Fellow at the University of Manchester (UK), Madeleine Haas Russell Visiting Professor of Non-Western and Comparative Politics at Brandeis University (USA), and Fulbright Research Fellow and Visiting Professor at Princeton University.
