Philip G. Kreyenbroek is Lecturer in Modern Iranian Languages at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He has published widely on ancient and modern Iranian religion, literature and civilisation. Stefan Sperl is Lecturer in Arabic at the School of Oriental and African Studies.
