Sa Majesté le Roi du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande et des territoires britanniques au delà des Mers, Empereur des Indes,
et Sa Majesté le Roi de l'Irak, d'une part,
et Son Excellence le Président de la République turque, d'autre part ;
Ayant en vue les dispositions do Traité signe à Lausanne le 24 juillet 1923 concernant le règlement de la frontière entre la Turquie et l'Irak; Reconnaissant l'Irak comme un Etat indépendant et les relations spéciales découlant des traités conclus entre lui et la Grande-Bretagne le 10 octobre 1922 et le 13 janvier 1926; Désireux d'éviter tout incident dans la zone frontière susceptible de troubler l'harmonie et la bonne entente entre eux; Ont decide de conclure un Traité a cet effet et ont désigné pour leurs plénipotentiaires, savoir :
Sa Majesté le Roi du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande et des territoires britanniques…

His Majesty the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas, Emperor of India,
and His Majesty the King of Iraq, of the one part;
and His Excellency the President of the Turkish Republic, of the other part;
Having regard to the provisions of the. Treaty signed at Lausanne on the 24th July, 1923, regarding the settlement of the frontier between Turkey and Iraq; Recognising Iraq as an independent State and the special relations resulting from the Treaties concluded between Iraq and Great Britain on the 10th October, 1922, and the 13th January, 1926; Anxious to avoid all incidents on the frontier which might disturb the peace and harmony of their relations; Have decided to conclude a Treaty for this purpose, and have appointed as their plenipotentiaries:
