PREFACE
Good news for those who wish to learn Kurdish. DOZ Publications, who publish distinguished work on Kurdish language, add a new title to this series with the volume at hand.
In preparing the present volume, we have drawn on mainly topics from everyday life, in the belief that this would make learning Kurdish easier and more fun.
The Kurmanji dialect of Kurdish has been taken as basis in the preparation of this book.
The recent efforts atthe purification of language, we are afraid, makes communication more difficult.
With this in mind, words that are in wide circulation among the public have been prefered.
We believe this book will be a valuable source for students of Kurdish, who will use it with pleasu- re in their endevaour to learn a new language.
